*Please note that stone crab season is open from October 15th to May 1st of every year. During off season, we ship "re-freshed" stone crab claws. Re-freshed means we take our freshly frozen claws, and slow thaw them to replicate the perfect flavor & texture of fresh stone crab claws.Â

I love the quality and freshness. So happy I started ordering.
Our order arrived a day late, not because of UPS but because key largo fisheries was late getting the order to UPS. When the order arrived its contents were warm and not the least bit chilled. The order also smelled very fishy. I notified key largo fisheries immediately and they offered a full refund which I declined as we were able to eat the crab claws after thoroughly washing them and placing them in refrigerator for a couple of hours. At dinner the crab claws had lost most of the fishy smell and tasted fine. I appreciate. The refund offer from the company as it shows integrity in the management. I suggested, however, that they pack better in the future. We will still get our crab claws from key largo fisheries especially when we are in town.
