*Please note that stone crab season is open from October 15th to May 1st of every year. During off season, we ship "re-freshed" stone crab claws. Re-freshed means we take our freshly frozen claws, and slow thaw them to replicate the perfect flavor & texture of fresh stone crab claws.Â

Overall, these are fantastic. My last order was for two 3lb paks. The first weighed in perfect. The second was actually short one claw (based on wt on the individual wt of the other claws in the package. But, I wasn't goint to gripe about since I bought them on sale. But I do feel that KLF should be aware of the quality control in the packaging of the product. Outside of that, I would have given them 5 stars.
